Flexible for both team teaching and general kinesthetic play, this small urban space uses folding walls to maintain ubiquitous flexiblity, while maintaining a sense of individuality for each classroom space through ‘porch’ entries to each classroom space where student work can be displayed to the community at large.  Additionally, exterior character elements make reference to the historic school program, along with more playful interpretation of ‘streetscape’ elements to connect with young minds.
